At The B.A.B.Y. Foundation, we believe every family we serve has a story worth telling — a story of courage, resilience, and unwavering love.
Our mission goes far beyond financial assistance; it’s about recognizing the extraordinary strength in children and families who are navigating life’s hardest challenges, and reminding them that they are not walking this journey alone.
Take Emmalyn, our 2025 Wyatt Memorial Award recipient. Her journey has included five rounds of chemotherapy, a major tumor removal surgery, radiation, immunotherapy, and two back-to-back bone marrow transplants. Despite the enormous physical and emotional toll, Emmalyn and her family radiate hope. With your support, we helped ease their financial burden so they could focus on what truly mattered: her healing.
Or Livia, who experienced seizures just days after birth and had to be airlifted to Children’s Hospital. Her family was blindsided, not only by fear, but by the overwhelming cost of emergency care. The B.A.B.Y. Foundation helped cover those expenses, giving her parents room to breathe when they needed it most.
And then there’s Braylon. Born with complex medical needs, Braylon has faced more hospital stays in his young life than most adults ever will. His parents have had to balance the emotional strain of watching their son fight for every milestone with the crushing weight of financial uncertainty. With the help of BABY, they found relief — not only financially, but in knowing they had a community standing beside them. Today, Braylon continues to make strides forward, and his family continues to inspire us with their resilience in volunteering with The B.A.B.Y. Foundation today.
These stories — Emmalyn’s, Livia’s, Braylon’s, and so many more — are what we call The Faces of B.A.B.Y. Each one represents not just hardship, but extraordinary courage. They remind us why this work matters so deeply: because behind every grant, every dollar, and every hour of support, there’s a child’s life touched and a family given hope.
