Halie

Halie was a spunky, normal 4 year old little girl when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May 2003 after complaining of neck pain on and off for a few months. The tumor was removed and she then completed 6 weeks of radiation. For two years, she had brain MRIs every 3-6 months and in late December 2005, it was found to have returned. She again had the tumor removed, followed by radiation. She continues to require follow-up brain MRIs to assure that the tumor has not returned. The B.A.B.Y. Foundation has helped by paying medical bills including the intermittent brain MRIs.

Halie is growing up to be a wonderful young girl. She hasn’t let any of this get her down or even slow her down. She is on Loveland Swim Team, loves school and never gives up on anything. We want to thank the B.A.B.Y. Foundation for helping us out when times were tough.
