Dylan

Dylan was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and had his first open heart surgery at 4 days of age. Since that time, he has had 5 more open heart surgeries and 4 other related surgeries performed at Phoenix Children’s Hospital because of the family’s insurance. He lives daily with heart failure but is a smart, happy toddler who can run circles around his parents. He will one day need a heart transplant so is followed closely by cardiologists at The Children’s Hospital in Denver.
